Director of Communications

Full Time - Salary.

The Lumen Room is searching for an organized self-motivator with a passion for communication, organization, and customer service.

If you're our ideal candidate, you're ready to dive right into our brand with enthusiasm to give our guests the best possible experience with every inquiry, schedule-change, and reservation.  Your attention to detail is unmatched and you have a knack for making sure things happen in an organized and efficient fashion. You communicate with warmth but also with clarity and directness which makes you an exceptional planner with solid leadership skills.  You enjoy responsibility and prefer autonomy to micromanagement.  You're energized by flexibility and you don't mind working around the clock if it means you get to dictate your own schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering emails within 10 minutes 7 am- 8 pm, 7 days a week. (scheduling, re-scheduling, questions about the space, troubleshooting, etc.).

  • Answering phone calls and text messages 7 am- 8 pm, 7 days a week (scheduling, re-scheduling, questions about the space, troubleshooting, etc.).

  • Texting each guest 10 minutes before his/her start time to "welcome" them to the space and establish connection.

  • Participating in weekly meetings to discuss growth, improvements, problem spots, and feedback.

Compensation:

  • Salary

  • Cell Phone and laptop provided by The Lumen Room

  • Unlimited travel (while answering phones/emails)

  • 7 days PTO (no answering phones/emails)/ year.
